Yoga
Developed in India, yoga is a science and an ancient art that has been evolving for the past 5000 years. Yoga, which means “union” in Indian Sanskrit, is a way of moving into stillness in order to discover and uncover your true nature. It is also a way of learning to be centered in action so that you always have the clearest perspective on what’s happening daily, and you are therefore able to respond most appropriately. Yoga is not the only way of doing this, of course, but it is an excellent way.
Yoga offers numerous benefits. It increases health, vitality, flexibility, energy, and balance. It enhances feelings of joy, happiness, peace, and bliss. It encourages us to generate more compassion and to be more loving to ourselves and others. It helps reduce mental, emotional, and physical suffering. Surely, yoga's tools are diverse and comprehensive. It is a complete road of discovery along which we can keep exploring for a very long time to come.
